I became interested in martial arts from an early age, joining a local Taekwondo when I was 9. That was a very practical art, with lots of kicking, and great fun. Athletics and sports always came naturaly to me and I became extremely competent at several in my early years. When football became the dominant sport in my life I sadly had to give up my training in taekwondo.
