Master Stefan Fischer & Wing Tsun

Stefan Fischer was born in Germany in 1967 and started to practise martial arts at the age of 5. Master Stefan Fischer practised Judo, Shaolin Kung Fu, Jeet Kune Do, Thai- and Kickboxing and street fighting which led him to Wing Tsun. For five years Si Fu Stefan Fischer trained 8 hours a day, 7 days a week in Wing Tsun, under the guidance of Grand Master K.R. Kernspecht at the famous Langenzell Castle near Heidelberg, Germany. He managed nine schools in Germany with hundreds of students. Master Stefan Fischer has been a private student of Grandmaster Leung Ting, Grandmaster Kernspecht, Master Edel, Master Schroen and many others.

Master Stefan Fischer Achievements

His long-held occupation as a doorman and bodyguard gave him valuable ‘hands on’ experience which now immensely benefits his students. As a bodyguard, his services were required by the likes of Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude van Damme and Bob Wall.

Master Stefan Fischer was involved in setting up and running the IPSO (International Protection Service Organisation) and was running his own security company at the same time. In 1994 he was appointed as Chief Instructor and Representative of the Australian Escrima and Wing Tsun Organisation (AUEWTO) by his teachers Grandmaster Keith R. Kernspecht (European Chief Instructor) and Grandmaster Leung Ting (World Chief Instructor). The Company name was changed in 2007 to the Australian Wing Tsun Network Pty Ltd (AWTN).

In the year 2000 Master Stefan Fischer was inducted to the Blitz Hall of Fame as the Kung Fu instructor of the Year. In June 2001, after 4 years of preparation, he received of his 4th Technican Level Wing Tsun from Si Fu Grandmaster K.R. Kernspecht and his Si Gung Grandmaster Leung Ting.

In May 2008 Si Fu Stefan Fischer was personally graded by GM Kernspecht and awarded the 5th Practician Master Level of Wing Tsun during training in Germany. Si Fu Stefan has joined the ranks of a select group of individuals who hold Master levels in Wing Tsun. The attainment of the Master Level comes after 18 years of dedicated Wing Tsun Training and more than 15 years of teaching. Throughout his WT teaching Si Fu Stefan has trained several of his own students both in Australia and Germany to Technician levels in WT.

Master Stefan Fischer has direct authorisation by Grandmaster Leung Ting and Grandmaster Kernspecht to act as Chief Instructor and Representative of the Leung Ting Wing Tsun System in Australia. Master Stefan Fischer is solely responsible for establishing and directing the AWTN and is in charge of instructing and testing all Wing Tsun instructors in Australia. He also claims responsibility for the distribution of geographical rights to open a WT school in Australia.
